Get to know Chiropractor Dr. Pat Gibson, who serves patients in Decatur, Georgia.

Dr. Gibson is a certified chiropractor serving as the Founder & Director of Gibson Chiropractic Clinic, P.C. in Decatur, Georgia. She brings well over 35 years of experience to her multidimensional wellness practice. 

Evaluating each client and their issue individually, she incorporates a comprehensive mind, body and spirit approach with the belief that there are many things contributing to the creation of a problem, not just one. She utilizes nutritional supplements along with diet and lifestyle changes to correct for organ and chemical imbalances, chiropractic care to address structural imbalance, and emotionally-based body work to help patients get at that not-so-conscious piece that is demanding attention. With that in mind, she believes all must be addressed to truly create wellness as opposed to just getting better. 

Since 1985, Gibson Chiropractic Clinic, P.C. has been providing comprehensive healthcare geared toward wellness with the emphasis on treating the whole individual not just the parts. Services offered include: chiropractic; applied kinesiology; nutrition consultation and program; massage; orthotics; cold laser, electrical stimulation, ultrasound; rehabilitation programs; spider tech taping; and cellular emotional mind/ body techniques. 

In addition to the chiropractic care she provides, Dr. Gibson brings a rich experience of treating sport related injuries and trauma as well as a strong nutritional background. She graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College.

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, vertigo and a long list of other ailments and conditions. They aim to improve patients’ functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body’s musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself naturally, without the use of medication or surgery. 

Using personal narratives gained from her clients’ success stories and her own, Dr. Gibson is the author of “Living in Your Sweet Spot: A Practical Guide to Your Authentic Life.” The book offers the exercises, tools, and knowledge to achieve your authentic self and live the life you deserve.

Additionally, she has designed and facilitates workshops on the “science of happiness”, which assists individuals in getting to the core of what prevents them from living a balanced life with joy and passion as well as giving them tools to create change.
