Get to know Pulmonologist Dr. Asad U. Khan, who serves patients throughout the State of Pennsylvania.

Specializing in critical care and pulmonary medicine, Dr. Khan is an experienced pulmonologist with Pulmonary Consultants, Inc. Providing sleep services, he sees patients at the offices in Upland and Glen Mills, Pennsylvania.

For more than 38 years, Pulmonary Consultants, Inc. has been providing quality medical care to patients of Crozer Health. The practice’s team of board-certified pulmonary specialists is known for its expert evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of emphysema, asthma, complications of lung cancer, and other problems affecting the lungs, chest, and respiratory system. They work closely with both referring physicians and patients, providing personal attention every step of the way. 

In affiliation with the Crozer Health network, Dr. Khan provides his services at Crozer Health Sleep Center at Brinton Lake. He also has admitting privileges at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Springfield Hospital, and Taylor Hospital.

The doctor’s journey into medicine began after he obtained his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Pakistan in 1984. He then relocated to the United States, completing his residency in internal medicine at Lankenau Hospital in 1997 and his fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital in 2000.

Holding over two decades of experience, Dr. Khan is board-certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

A member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom, Dr. Khan is licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. His areas of clinical research include bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and pleural biopsy.

Pulmonology is a medical specialty that deals with diseases involving the respiratory tract.
