Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Daniel Gould, who serves patients in California.

As one of L.A.’s most trusted plastic surgeons, Dr. Gould is sought after for his unique combination of expert knowledge, exceptional surgical skills for improving the physical aesthetic, and a reputation for a highly individual level of patient care.

Serving as the Medical Director of Dr. Gould Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills, he specializes in surgical procedures, including state-of-the-art deep plane facelift, state-of-the-art drainless tummy tuck, breast surgery, and liposuction. He also specializes in non-surgical aesthetic procedures such as injectables and lasers to help patients reach a new level of beauty and confidence.

Assuring innovative techniques, advanced care, and a seamless post-recovery process, Dr. Gould believes in creating natural and beautiful results in harmony with his patients’ aesthetic. He also believes in developing a long-term relationship with his patients and holds the fundamental belief that all patients are patients for life.

With a solid educational background, Dr. Gould graduated with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics – Research under Joan S. Valentine, from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2006. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Bioengineering from Rice University in 2011, followed by his Medical Degree from Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) in 2013.

Furthering his training, Dr. Gould completed a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Residency Program at the University of Southern California. He worked with experts in plastic surgery, including Dr. Grant Stevens for almost ten years, and also worked with Dr. Sheila Nazarian in Beverly Hills, where he learned not only how to provide great care and results for patients but also a great culture. 

Board certified in plastic surgery, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS).  The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

A Fellow of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and an active committee member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Gould focuses on continually improving the standards and processes of aesthetic enhancement. He travels the country educating residents and fellows on breakthrough procedures and techniques that continue to advance the industry and patient results.

He has authored over 120 peer-reviewed articles and over 400 presentation abstracts in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. He has also presented at the national and international conferences for aesthetic and cosmetic surgery countless times.

For his academic contributions, Dr. Gould received the Sherrell Aston Award in 2015 from the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and many similar awards from the American Society of Plastic Surgery. These include: Best Paper ASPS (Cosmetic); Best PRS Article of the Year (ASMS); Best Paper ASPS (Maxillofacial); Best Paper Award (ASJ); Honors Medical School Degree; Best Medical Student in Pediatrics Jaworski Award; Richard Dickason Outstanding Physician Scientist Award; American Heart Association Research Scientist/Volunteer of the Year; Medical Scientist Training Program Graduate Training Yearly Publication Award; Highlighted Young Investigator American Heart Association; Chancellor’s Service Award UCLA; and Phi Beta Kappa National Dean’s List Dean’s List Golden Key Honor Society (top 15% of class and service) National Collegiate Scholars Council. 

On the editorial board for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, Dr. Gould was one of the youngest surgeons ever to receive this role. His credibility as a research and plastic surgeon makes him one of the rising stars of Beverly Hills plastic surgery.
