Dr. Khan is a fellowship trained and board certified surgeon currently practicing with Northeast Surgical Associates at Torresdale. He is a member of Jefferson Community Physicians. He holds expertise in advanced endoscopy, robotic surgery, laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery, hepatopancreatobiliary surgery, and endocrine surgery.

Dr. Khan graduated with his Medical Degree from King Edward Medical College in Pakistan in 1999, giving him over two decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his medical degree and relocating to the United States he completed his internship and residency in surgery from the St. Francis Medical Center in New Jersey. Furthering his education he completed his advanced laparoscopy, endoscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound fellowship through St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also completed a mini-fellowship in endoscopic ultrasound under the direction of Dr. Anand Sahai at the University of Montreal, in Canada.

Dr. Khan is certified by the American Board of Surgery. The American Board of Surgery is an independent, nonprofit organization founded in 1937 to provide board certification to individuals who have met a defined standard of education, training and knowledge in the field of surgery.

To stay up to date in his field, Dr. Khan remains a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and the Surgical Society of Alimentary Tract, and has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Khan speaks Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, and English.
