Academically, Dr. Moulavi received his medical degree from the University of Toronto, before completing his residency in family medicine at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He has completed the Annual Practical Approaches to the Treatment of Obesity at Harvard University and is a proud American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine member.

As a testament to his continued education, he is a board-certified Graduate of the Fellowship Program of the Obesity Medical Association, board-certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine, and board-certified by the American Board of Bariatric Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians (FASBP).
