Dr. Wiscovitch-Velez is an internist with over 41 years of experience in his field. He is currently the Medical Director of the Hospital Metropolitano Dr. Pila in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The Hospital Metropolitano Dr. Pila, is one of the main health centers in the southern area of ​​Puerto Rico. 

With the highest quality standards required by the health industry, the hospital is positioned as the most complete cardiovascular center in the southern area of ​​the island. It’s mission is to offer excellent services in the medical field with the most advanced technology in order to achieve total patient satisfaction.

Dr. Wiscovitch-Velez earned his medical degree from Universidad Central del Este in 1978. He then went on to complete his residency at Ponce Regional Hospital.
