The team at Agoura-West Valley Pediatrics consists of experienced, compassionate pediatricians and friendly, nurturing staff members who take pride in giving their young patients the personalized pediatric care that they deserve. They are proud to be an affiliate of the Children’s Hospital Health Network where they partnered with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to produce quality health outcomes and to provide preventative care to healthy kids.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Cosmer attended the Chicago Medical School, graduating with his medical degree, and then moved to Southern California to do his residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

An expert in his field, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Happily married, Dr. Cosmer lives in Agoura Hills and has three children: Jeremy who is a respiratory therapist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago; Traci, who is a senior at Cal State Channel Islands; and Josh who is a sophomore at San Jose State with a major in Kinesiology.  His wife, Sheryl, is a preschool teacher at Valley Beth Shalom ECC in Encino. In his free time, he enjoys reading, going to the movies, bowling, golf, and fishing.
