Dr. Corenman holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC). He then went on to complete his residency in chiropractic orthopedics from LACC and was in private practice for 5 years. 

Dr. Corenman earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Thereafter, he completed the five-year residency program in orthopedic surgery at the Detroit Medical Center. He continued his education completing a fellowship in spinal disorders and deformity at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Corenman continued on at the University as an Assistant Professor in Orthopedic Surgery, teaching fellows and residents for 3 years. 

Dr. Corenman was the Co-Chief of Spinal Trauma at Denver General, which is now Denver Health Medical Center. He is affiliated with the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association and is a physician for the U.S. Ski Team. 

Dr. Corenman is a member of the North American Spine Society, the Western States Orthopedic Society, the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Colorado Medical Association, the Colorado Orthopedic Association, the California Chiropractic Association, and the American Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists. He is also on the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners for the State of Colorado. 

Dr. Corenman is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). Founded in 1934 as a private, voluntary, nonprofit, autonomous organization, the ABOS exists to serve the best interest of the public and the medical profession by establishing educational standards for orthopedic residents and by evaluating the initial and continuing qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons. 

Dr. Corenman is an associate editor for the American journal of Chiropractic Orthopedics. He has conducted research on the spine for both surgery and rehabilitation and has published multiple articles.
