Dr. Akinbajo Brings Extensive Training and Expertise to his Role in Connecticut 

An established anesthesiologist, Dr. Akinbajo is affiliated with Danbury Hospital, which is part of Nuvance Health. He also holds the position of Assistant Professor in Anesthesiology at New York Medical College.

With an impressive educational background, he completed his fellowship in pain medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock/Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in 2010. Prior to that, he pursued his residency in anesthesiology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/Mount Sinai Hospital, graduating in 2009. He began his medical journey with an internship in internal medicine at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell at Lenox Hill Hospital in 2006. He obtained his medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2005.

In pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. His commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in his specialty ensures that patients under his care receive the highest quality of treatment.
