Get to know Radiologist Dr. Zandra Nocera, who serves patients in Scottsdale, Arizona.

A seasoned radiologist, Dr. Nocera works with patients at her private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Throughout her academic career, she graduated with her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch Hospitals.

Subsequent to her education, the doctor attained board certification in diagnostic radiology through the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.

Radiology refers to the field of medicine that uses non-invasive imaging scans to diagnose a patient. A radiologist is a physician who uses imaging methodologies to diagnose and manage patients and provide therapeutic options.

Among her most notable achievements, Dr. Nocera has been the recipient of the Patients' Choice Award (2016, 2012, 2011), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2012, 2011).
