An established orthopedic surgeon, Dr. York is in practice at Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care System, Redrock Clinic in Gallup, New Mexico.

Graduating with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the AT Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995, Dr. York completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College in 1998. He then went on to  complete his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2005.

Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

Orthopedic surgery is the branch of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. Orthopedic surgeons use both surgical and non-surgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, spine diseases, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders.
