Given his experience and training, he is uniquely qualified to shape the nose and ears, while improving function. He is a past President of the New York Facial Plastic Surgery Society, President of the Dutchess County Medical Society, Director of Otolaryngology at the MidHudson Regional Hospital, and a Lecturer at the Westchester Medical Center. 

After graduating with honors from Cornell University Medical College, he went on to complete his chief residency at the NYU Medical Center, followed by his advanced fellowship training in facial, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and microvascular reconstruction at UCLA. He returned to New York in 2003, where he founded his practice Oasis Medi-Spa and Facial, Plastic, Reconstructive, and Laser Surgery in the beautiful Hudson Valley.

In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the doctor is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, the New York Facial Plastic Surgery Society, the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, the American Medical Association, the New York State Medical Society, the Dutchess County Medical Society, the Sigma Xi Honorary Society, and the American Rhinologic Society, among many others. 

Moreover, he is board-certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Having survived ethnic violence while growing up, Dr. Abraham is committed to humanitarian work to make the world a better place. He enjoys volunteering with Healing The Children North East and the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. For these organizations, he performs leadership activities at both the local and national level. 

A resident of Hudson Valley, Dr. Abraham enjoys spending time with his wife and children when he is not working. He is an avid skier, biker, and tennis player.
