A renowned dermatologist, Dr. Ochsner is the Owner & Operator of Metairie Road Dermatology. She has been providing excellent dermatological care to patients in the New Orleans and Metairie areas since 1984.
Together with her caring staff, she offers a full range of dermatology and skin care services, including cosmetic dermatology, dermatologic surgery, laser procedures, medical dermatology, pediatric dermatology, and skin cancer treatment. She is also committed to keeping patients well-informed in order to prevent skin damage and lead healthier lives.
Alongside her clinical role, she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Dermatology at Tulane University School of Medicine.
A New Orleans native, Dr. Ochsner attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart. She graduated summa cum laude with honors from Newcomb College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then went on to receive her medical degree and to complete her residency training in dermatology at Tulane University School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident. Her postdoctoral training included a melanoma fellowship with nationally renowned surgical oncologist, Dr. Edward Krementz.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the doctor is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.
