Dr. Rina Singh is a top dentist proudly serving patients in private practice at Rina Singh DDS. In practice for over 23 years, Dr. Singh's approach to dentistry is to start with the health of the smile first. After providing comprehensive dental care, she then provides cosmetic dental services including veneers, crowns, Invisalign, implant dentistry, and family dentistry. During her time studying biology at Stony Brook University, Dr. Singh had the opportunity to work alongside a microbiology doctor. This experience involved researching the effects of different oral vaccines, specifically focusing on the polio virus. Dr. Singh developed a deep interest in the oral cavity, oral bacteria, and their connection to the rest of the body. This fascination with the scientific aspects of dentistry ultimately led her to pursue a career in the field. Throughout her dental school journey, she also discovered the artistic and creative aspects of dentistry, which she instantly fell in love with.
After completing her Bachelor of Science degree at Stony Brook University, Dr. Singh went on to earn her dental doctorate from the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She furthered her education by completing a one-year General Practice Residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, which is now known as Northwell Medical Center, located in New Hyde Park, NY. Dr. Singh remains committed to expanding her knowledge and skills by regularly participating in continuing education programs focused on various dental specialties, including Invisalign, laser dentistry, and BOTOX/dermal fillers. She is an active member of esteemed professional organizations such as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Facial Aesthetics, the SPEAR Education Club, the American Dental Association, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.
