Dr. Hayatdavoudi, a board-certified hospitalist, holds hospital affiliations with Scripps Green Hospital, Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, and Scripps Mercy Hospital-San Diego. These three hospitals are a part of the Scripps Health network.

After graduating from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physiological Sciences with an emphasis on Mathematical Modeling of Physiological Systems, Dr. Hayatdavoudi went to the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, where he received his medical degree. He subsequently moved to San Diego, where he has been practicing medicine with experience in hospital medicine, urgent care medicine, and post-acute medicine.

Most recently, he graduated from the University of San Diego with a Juris Doctorate (JD) in June of 2018. He was involved in an audit of the Board of Registered Nursing, working from 2017 to 2018 under the direction of the Center for Public Interest Law at USD.

Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. He is also a member of the American College of Physicians, the San Diego County Bar Association, and the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs. 

As President and Head of Clinical Operations at Integrated Healthcare Alliance (IHA), Dr. Hayatdavoudi has developed and implemented the processes necessary to take care of America’s sickest patients in a seamless, effective, and cost-efficient manner. With his broad skill base, he has brought to IHA his years of experience in process development and data analysis, health-related quality improvement, clinical expertise in acute care practices, and health policy analysis.

Hospital medicine is a medical specialty that exists in some countries as a branch of internal or family medicine, dealing with the care of acutely ill hospitalized patients.
