Dr. Parekh earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of California, Irvine in 2009. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated ‘cum laude’ from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded an honors delegation for the treatment of medically complex patients. Dr. Parekh then went on to complete his general practice residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Dr. Parekh is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the Baltimore City Dental Society, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Parekh is certified in Invisalign – a type of orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten teeth without the use of the typical metal braces. In addition to English, Dr. Parekh speaks Hindi, Gujarati, and Spanish. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and other sports, as well as traveling.
