Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. LaDonna Rae Jones, who serves patients in Olympia and Tacoma, Washington.

Dr. Rae Jones is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist who is licensed to practice medicine in Washington. She is affiliated with Providence St. Peter Hospital & MultiCare Women’s Center – Tacoma.

Providence St. Peter Hospital, located in the Lilly Road Medical District of Olympia, Washington, is Providence Health & Services’ second largest Washington state hospital. It provides a full array of services to communities in Thurston, Lewis, Mason, Grays Harbor, and Pacific counties. 

MultiCare Women’s Center-Tacoma located in the MultiCare on Division building provides women convenient access and options to leading OB/GYN care. From routine to complex care, the OB/GYN providers tailor their care to the unique needs of each woman. They perform all newborn deliveries and gynecological surgeries at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Rae Jones graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1995. She then went on to perform her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Methodist Hospitals of Dallas in 1999.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.

Among her diverse accolades, Dr. Jones is the recipient of Patients’ Choice Award (2012, 2014, 2016, 2017), Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2012, 2014, 2016, 2017), and On-Time Doctor Award (2014, 2016, 2017).
