Dr. Mihaylov is a skilled transplant surgeon with a focus on liver, kidney and intestine/multivisceral transplants for both adults and children. He is currently in practice at IU Health University, and serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine.

A native of Bulgaria, he received his medical degrees from the Medical University of Varna in Bulgaria and the University of Milano School of Medicine in Italy. He completed his general surgery training at the University of Pavia School of Medicine in Italy, before moving on to complete his transplant surgery fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2017.
