Get to know OBGYN Ann Schufreider, who serves patients in Illinois. 

Dr. Schufreider is an OBGYN serving Skokie, Buffalo Grove, and the surrounding communities. She is affiliated with Midwest Center for Women’s HealthCare and performs deliveries and surgeries at Evanston Hospital, a NorthShore University Hospital. 

Dr. Schufreider earned her Medical Degree (MD) at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in 2013. She went on to complete an internship at the University of Chicago Hospitals in 2014 and a residency at the same location in 2017. She served as the chief resident in 2016- 2017. 

Obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts). As an OBGYN, Dr. Schufreider can treat a number of health issues related to the vagina, uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes and breasts. She can also treat women during pregnancy, labor, childbirth and the postpartum period. 

During her time in the field, Dr. Schufreider has treated many women and helped bring many babies into this world.
