Furthering her education, she earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in 2013. She then completed her internal medicine internship with St. Johns Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan, followed by her anesthesiology residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
