  • Can acupuncture help a torn meniscus?

Hi, I'm sorry to hear about the torn meniscus. To be honest, recovery of a meniscus tear depends on a few factors. Your age is in your favor, but other variables can influence recovery such as general well-being, nutrition, and rest. The meniscus is notoriously low on blood innervation and that is where the acupuncture can excel. Localized points can promote the flow of energy and blood; thereby encouraging recovery. Diet, rest, and overall health would be other factors to work on during recovery. I hope this helps answer your question. READ MORE
