Get to know Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr. Aldo M. Sbigoli, who serves patients in Illinois.

Recognized as a top Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Sbigoli specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a part of the team of dental professionals at McHenry Dental Specialists with offices in McHenry and Lake in the Hills, Illinois. 

Having practiced in McHenry since 1994, he can also be found on staff at AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Medical Center Elk Grove Village. 

After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University in 1979, Dr. Sbigoli went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1985. He then completed his internship at Loyola University Medical Center in 1986 and received his specialty certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the University of Chicago in 1990. 

Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the McHenry County Dental Society, and the Illinois State Dental Society.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery specializes in surgery of the face, mouth, and jaws. It is an internationally recognized surgical specialty. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are dental specialists who treat conditions, defects, injuries, and esthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face. Their training involves a four-year graduate degree in dentistry and the completion of a minimum four-year hospital surgical residency program.
