He then went on to perform his residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education in 2009, and his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 2012.

With an unwavering commitment to his speciality, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
