Dr. Ramos is an award winning, board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist working with patients at her private practice in Santa Barbara, California. She proudly provides services with care and compassion, catering to her patients’ immediate health needs while targeting improvements to their overall wellbeing.

She and her team of nurse practitioners believe in excellence in women’s health care, providing compassionate care for all stages of life, including adolescence, the childbearing years, perimenopause and menopause, and beyond. Their mission is to provide high-quality, personalized medical care. The office offers everything necessary for contemporary diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic and obstetrical abnormalities, but also places a major emphasis on wellness and disease prevention.

The practice provides various OBGYN services, including specialized and personalized care in the prevention and treatment of female reproductive disease; well woman exams for women in all stages of life; comprehensive childbearing services including preconception counseling, infertility counseling, prenatal care, and delivery; MonaLisa Touch® treatments, and SculpSure® treatments.

After receiving her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1994, Dr. Ramos served her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the LAC+USC Women’s & Children’s Hospital. She is one the OBGYN specialists on staff at Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital, and Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Subsequent to her education, the doctor attained board certification in obstetrics and gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts).
