Committed to providing outstanding care and expertise to adult and pediatric patients, Dr. Kalyoussef serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology and Director of Comprehensive Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, joining the faculty in 2012.

As a highly-trained otolaryngologist, she specializes in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, sialendoscopy, transoral robotic surgery, head and neck oncology, sleep disorders, voice disorders, minimally invasive surgery as well as a broad spectrum of pediatric otolaryngologic pathologies. She also has a special interest in cancer survivorship care.

Pertaining to her educational pursuits, Dr. Kalyoussef earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey’s Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2007, before completing her residency in otolaryngology at UMDNJ University Hospital in 2012.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the doctor attained board certification in otolaryngology through the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, which serves the public by ensuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.

Among her other roles, she can be found on staff at University Hospital, Newark, HMH Mountainside Medical Center, Clara Maass Medical Center, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, and Trinitas Regional Medical Center.
