Dr. Resnick is a pediatric dentist providing friendly dental care and preventative treatments at Pediatric Dentistry of Northbrook & Highland Park. His goal is to provide thorough dental service to children from infancy to adulthood, with a prevention-driven philosophy.
Among his many other titles, he is on staff at NorthShore University Hospitals, is Emeritus at the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, holds the rank of Senior Lecturer at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, and teaches in the General Practice Residency Program at Evanston Hospital.
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Resnick received his undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Illinois. After serving two years as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corp, he returned to the University of Illinois where he earned a Certificate and a Master of Science degree in Pediatric Dentistry.
Having been a speaker at local and national dental meetings, Dr. Resnick is a contributing author for the medical textbook, Pediatrics, second edition. He is also a consultant for American Dental Examiners.
Among his professional affiliations include the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois Pediatric Dental Society (where he served as a board member).
Pediatric dentistry is the branch of dentistry dealing with children from birth through adolescence. Pediatric dentists specialize in oral care for infants, toddlers, children, and teenagers. They are trained to handle: treatment of children under anesthesia and sedation, as well as treatment of medically compromised children and adolescents.

Happily married, Dr. Resnick and his wife, Barbara, have two sons, three grandsons, and two granddaughters. He enjoys biking, traveling, and playing golf in his free time.
Interested in all sports, he balances the Chicago baseball interest in the office by being a lifelong White Sox fan.
