Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Solis graduated with his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University California Berkeley in 1989. He then went on to earn his Medical Degree from the UCSF School of Medicine in 1995.
Furthering his training, he performed his residency in emergency medicine at UCSF-Fresno – Community Regional Medical Center from 1996-1999.
A Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Solis is board certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM is one of 24 medical specialty certification boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
With 20+ years of experience, Dr. Solis has honed his skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, always striving to provide compassionate and evidence-based care.
Emergency medicine, also known as accident and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. An emergency physician works in an emergency department to care for acutely ill or injured patients on an unscheduled basis.
Since January of 2000, Dr. Solis has been serving as a volunteer physician at Samaritan Center Free Clinic. It provides free medical services for the working poor and uninsured of Tulare County.
