With more than 30 years of experience in his field, Dr. Iaropoli is a general dentist who specializes in prosthodontics – the area of dentistry that focuses on dental prostheses. He is currently serving patients’ dental needs at Fairfield Dental Arts in Fairfield, Connecticut. There, he and the Fairfield Dental Arts staff are dedicated to offering adults and children the best preventive, restorative, orthodontic, and cosmetic dental care. They pride themselves on the quality services they provide, including preventive care for the whole family, crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers, and dental implants. They also utilize the highest quality materials to ensure restorations look as natural as the regular teeth.

Dr. Iaropoli graduated from Columbia University in 1984 with a BS in biology/psychology. While at Columbia, he played 4 years of Ivy League baseball and was a letterman as a pitcher on the Varsity team. He then went on to attend Columbia University College of Dental Medicine where he graduated with honors in 1988. Thereafter, he completed his residency in advanced general dentistry at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City from 1988 to 1989. From 1989 to 1991, Dr. Iaropoli completed his specialty residency in prosthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Iaropoli is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Bridgeport Dental Association, and the American College of Prosthodontists.

Dr. Iaropoli believes strongly in keeping his skills and knowledge current through continuing education. He is a graduate of the prestigious Misch Institute, where he completed advanced dental implant surgical training. Furthermore, he completed two years of advanced training in orthodontics, as well as advanced training in cosmetic dentistry at the Las Vegas Institute. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. A general dentist is a primary care dental provider who diagnoses, treats, and manages patients’ overall oral health care needs, including gum care, root canals, fillings, crowns, veneers, bridges, and preventive education. Dr. Iaropoli is certified in Invisalign and Clear Correct. He is also a certified Lumineer provider.

In his spare time, Dr. Iaropoli enjoys sports, playing golf, and tinkering on his guitar. He and his wife, Cynthia, have two teenage sons who are active in high school athletics.
