Get to know Family Physician Dr. Ann Hughes Bass, who serves patients in Littlefield, Texas.

Dr. Bass, a diligent family physician, has been working at Lamb Healthcare Center in Littlefield, Texas since July of 2019.

Lamb Healthcare Center serves the residents of Lamb County and surrounding communities. The hospital is located at 1500 South Sunset and is owned by Lamb County, and is supported by Lamb County tax dollars.

A 2016 graduate of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, Dr. Bass went on to perform her residency in family medicine at the said educational venue in 2019.

With a focus on comprehensive health care for people of all ages, she is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Practicing medicine in the state of Texas, Dr. Bass is affiliated with Covenant Hospital Levelland, University Medical Center, and Lynn County Hospital District.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
