Get to know Gastroenterologist Dr. Nathan Schulman, who serves patients in Great Neck, New York. 

Dr. Schulman, a board-certified gastroenterologist, is a Principal Partner of Long Island Medical and Gastroenterology Associates in Great Neck, New York. He is also affiliated with Northwell Health, more specifically Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York & North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York.

Among the doctor’s various achievements, he is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. What’s more, he is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Gastroenterological Association. 

Back in 1980, Dr. Schulman earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky. He then went on to complete his internship, residency, and fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he received the prestigious honor of being selected Chief Resident in Internal Medicine.
