Get to know Psychiatrist, Dr. Kenneth W. Willis, who treats patients in Skillman, New Jersey

Dr. Willis is a board-certified psychiatrist who maintains a private practice, Hidden River Eating Disorder Treatment, in Skillman, New Jersey. He specializes in treating adolescents and adults with eating disorders, who may also have co-occurring mental health issues such as mood, anxiety, and trauma disorders. Kenneth Willis, MD works with adolescents and adults and provides family support/counseling, group therapy, medication management/monitoring, and psychotherapy.

Dr. Willis received a Bachelor of Arts degree at Harvard University in 1974. He then acquired his medical degree at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in 1978, followed by his residency in psychiatry at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire (1982). 

Dr. Willis became board-certified in psychiatry  by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 1980 The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. (ABPN) is a nonprofit corporation that was founded in 1934 as a method of identifying the qualified specialists in psychiatry and neurology. The ABPN is one of 24 member boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). 

A member of the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) and the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED), dr. Willis is a former Founding Clinical Advisory Board Member of Project HEAL and serves on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). He is credentialed as a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) by IAEDP.
