Dr. Karin I. Harp is a award-winning board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon with more than 20 years of experience. She is the founder of Apex Dermatology in Westlake Village, where she leads a dedicated team known for combining advanced treatments with compassionate care. Dr. Harp specializes in both medical and aesthetic dermatology, treating conditions such as acne, rosacea, psoriasis, vitiligo, and eczema, while also offering surgical services for skin cancer and mole removal. She’s also known for her skill in cosmetic procedures, including injectables like Botox /Jeuveau, Fillers, Facials and Peels, facial rejuvenation, non-invasive body contouring, and laser skin resurfacing. Dr. Harp is a fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and regularly mentors future healthcare professionals. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys family time, playing violin and cello, and showcasing her photography in the Apex Dermatology office, creating a welcoming, artistic space for her patients.

Her dedication to the field of dermatology was acknowledged when she was selected for the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society during her residency.
Recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Harp remains actively engaged in the medical community through her memberships in various organizations, including the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc., the American Society of Mohs Surgery, the Los Angeles County Medical Association, the San Fernando Valley Dermatologic Society, the American Medical Association, Community Health Associates, and CalDerm, which monitors legislation and policy that impacts the dermatological field as a whole. In addition, she holds the prestigious titles of FAAD (Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology) and FASDS (Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery).
Outside her clinical practice, Dr. Harp enjoys family time with her husband, a screenwriter, and their three children. An accomplished violinist and photographer, her artistic talents are showcased in the Apex Dermatology office, creating a welcoming environment for patients.
