She then went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida Health Science Center, Jacksonville in 2012, and her fellowship in hematology & medical oncology at St. Louis University Hospital in 2015. Finally, she completed an additional fellowship in stem cell transplantation at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2016.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), the doctor attained board certification in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Remaining up to date in her field, she is an active member of the American Society of Hematology, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
