Why is my period so light?
That's probably ok. Menstrual cycles are very sensitive to other things going on in your body. It's not unusual, especially for a teenager, to have changes in your periods from time to time, including how long they last, how heavy they are and whether they are on time. Having had Covid recently probably disrupted your usual rhythm. Since you are not sexually active pregnancy would not be the cause. For now, don't worry. If you continue to have unusual changes that concern you, you should see a gynecologist. Hope this helps! READ MORE
Childbirth ability?
Hi, your fertility will not be affected by your previous history. Men produce new sperm essentially continuously, unlike women, who are born with all the eggs they will ever have. Previous loss of sperm will not affect your production of new sperm in the future. There are other things that might decrease your sperm count, for example hydroceles or injury, some medications and other health issues, and some men have a naturally low sperm count, but your masturbation history will not cause a problem. Missed period
Hi, The answer depends on whether you have had sex again since you took the plan B and had your period. If you had your period after taking Plan B, it is most likely that you were not pregnant at that time. If, in the interim, you have had sex again, and now your period is late, that could mean that you are pregnant now or it could be just that your period is a bit late given that you’ve been having some stress on your body with the pneumonia etc. Assuming that the test you took was a pregnancy test and was negative, that’s a good indication that you’re just late because your body got a little out of cycle. That happens frequently and doesn’t mean anything bad if it happens every once in a while, particularly if you’ve been sick or stressed. But the negative test could also mean that you tested too early. If your period doesn’t start in the next week or so, I would repeat the pregnancy test. If it is still negative and you still aren’t having your period, then you should see your gynecologist for further evaluation. Hope this is helpful. Laurie Scott MD READ MORE
