Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. David Billings, who serves patients in Minot, North Dakota.

Dr. Billings is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, who provides comprehensive care to women of all ages. He holds an expertise in pregnancy and prenatal care, as well as the special care for women with complex pregnancies and infertility. 

As a professional in practice, he is serving patients at Trinity Health, a comprehensive healthcare system based in Minot, North Dakota. Trinity Health proudly serves the North Dakota, Eastern Montana, and Saskatchewan region. Its facilities include two acute care hospitals, several clinics, and a 292-bed long-term care and retirement facility. He is the Chief of Surgery at Trinity Health.

A graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Billings completed his residency training at Michigan State University Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. He served as the OB/GYN Chief Attending Physician at Minot Air Force Base and is a faculty member of the UND Center for Family Medicine in Minot.

He maintains a very active practice and always provides supportive care for women. As a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), he holds a distinguished title within the ACOG as a doctor who has made a difference in women’s health on a global scale. Other memberships include the North Dakota Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, American Medical Association, and the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanitarian Honor Society.

Furthermore, the doctor is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics, gynecology, pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
