Get to know Podiatrist Dr. David Alameda Jr., who serves patients throughout the State of Illinois.

A competent podiatrist, Dr. Alameda Jr. is in practice at Alameda Foot Centers PC, working with patients at their offices in Chicago and Waukegan, Illinois. Committed to staying at the forefront of podiatry, he strives to provide superior and personalized foot care for all his valued patients.

With a broad educational background, he earned his undergraduate degree at DePaul University and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He then went on to complete his internship at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Hospital, and his residency at Cabrini Medical Center.

Passionate about his profession, the doctor is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, which was founded in 1975 as an independent, non-profit organization for the purpose of certifying podiatric surgeons found to be qualified after meeting credentialing requirements and completing the examination process.

As a part of the staff at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Dr. Alameda is actively involved in the Podiatric Surgery Residency Program at this prestigious institution. He also served on the board of the Department of Professional Regulation, Section of Podiatry, and has served as a commissioned officer in the United States Public Health Service.

Committed to contributing to the future of this field, he has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.

A podiatrist, also known as a podiatric physician or a foot and ankle surgeon, is a medical professional devoted to the treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremity. They can treat injuries and complications from ongoing health issues like diabetes.
