An integral part of the Englewood Health Physician Network, Dr. Bernik plays a crucial role in overseeing the Wound Healing Center and the Non-Invasive Peripheral Vascular Laboratory at Englewood Hospital. In addition to this, he sees patients at the Center for Vein Disease, and serves as a Principal Investigator for the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT), further contributing to cutting-edge medical research and patient care.

He then went on to perform his residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center, and his fellowship training at Strong Memorial Hospital and North Shore University Hospital.
Dedicated to the treatment of the body’s arteries and veins, Dr. Bernik is board-certified in both surgery and vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
