With a broad educational background, Dr. Taber graduated with his medical degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine in 1997. He then went on to complete his internship at Georgetown University Hospital in 1998, and his residency in psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2000.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA), the doctor attained board certification in psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high-quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.
