Passionate about his profession, Dr. Glorioso is board-certified in hospice & palliative medicine and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Achieving fellowship status, he is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists (ACOI).

Holding membership status, Dr. Glorioso is an active member of various professional organizations, including the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and the American Osteopathic Association. 

As for his academic appointment, he served as a Preceptor at Drexel University School of Medicine since 2006, contributing to the training of future medical professionals. Additionally, he played a crucial role as a member of the Palliative Care Advisory Team at York Hospital from 2001 to 2004 and later took on the position of Lead Educator in Palliative Care at WellSpan York Hospital from 2004 to 2015.

Hospice and palliative medicine is a formal subspecialty of medicine in the United States that focuses on symptom management, relief of suffering, and end-of-life care. Hospice and palliative medicine specialists are medical doctors who help prevent and relieve suffering of patients who have a serious illness or who have only a short time left to live. They work with a team of other professionals to address the needs of both the patient and loved ones.
