The simple answer is, "sometimes a break is a good idea." However, many of my patients wear medically necessary contacts and while I always recommend daily (no overnight) wear, not everyone is able to take an entire day off because glasses may offer inadequate vision. Can I fly after having laser eye surgery?
It's better to defer the flight until after your first follow up and the surgeon has cleared you for flight. Depending on what type of laser you are getting, the flight can cause complications if undertaken too soon. READ MORE
