Dr. Kavi Shah is an Implant dentist who received his initial training at the College of Dental Medicine of Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He then undertook a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University in Miami, Florida where he also worked with patients with physical and mental handicaps in a Special Needs clinic. He has been trained in nitrous oxide and oral sedation dentistry and enjoys working with the dentally anxious patient. “The dental chair is not a fun place for most people, and everything I do is designed to make patients as comfortable as possible. I focused my residency on sedation, implant surgery & implant restorations, along with complex esthetic and prosthodontics so that I could live up to this vision." In addition, Dr. Kavi has completed numerous additional residencies in Implantology and Oral Surgery. This involves being a leader at numerous literature review groups and study clubs. By taking an active role in the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Dr. Shah stays involved in today’s proven improvements to bring to his patient care. Taking a conservative approach, he prides himself on making sure you receive only the treatment that you need and believes in treating each patient like a member of his family.
