Attributing her success to her life experience, Dr. Eboh’s father was diagnosed with cancer while she was in her training. For this reason, she understands how cruel cancer is and what it feels like to be on the other side of healthcare. She approaches her patients from a place of understanding and care and treats them like they are a part of her family, taking time to talk and really listen to their issues and concerns.

To advance her professional efforts, she remains a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

After earning her Bachelor of Medical Science degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2006, Dr. Eboh went on to embark on her medical journey. She obtained her medical degree from the Penn State College of Medicine in 2010. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in 2013, followed by her fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at The University of Chicago Medicine in 2016. 

Following her education, the doctor became board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Gastroenterology is the branch of medicine focused on the digestive system and its disorders. A gastroenterologist is a physician who has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to the esophagus, stomach, small intestines, colon, liver, pancreas, and biliary system.
