Dr. Spencer graduated with his Medical Degree from the prestigious Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City in 1988. He then furthered his expertise by completing a fellowship in Mohs Surgery under the mentorship of Dr. Rex Amonette. His commitment to excellence in dermatology led him to serve as the Director of MOHS and Dermatologic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, where he was also a Professor of Clinical Dermatology.

As a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Spencer adheres to the highest standards of patient care and safety. His leadership capabilities are reflected in his past presidency of the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery, his role on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology, and his editorial positions with the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology and the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Spencer is a Co-Chairman of the National Council for Skin Cancer Prevention and maintains an esteemed affiliation with St. Anthony’s Hospital. His commitment to advancing dermatological care is evident through his extensive involvement in clinical research, education, and public speaking engagements. He has co-edited a comprehensive book, authored numerous book chapters, and published over 100 scientific articles.
