The Laser Center of Coral Gables is an LASIK and Refractive Surgery Center in Miami, Florida. The center comprises of a team of medical professionals and eye specialists within the state of Florida. They trained to deal with a wide range of medical conditions related to the eyes, including astigmatism, presbyopia, cataracts, farsightedness, nearsightedness, and keratoconus.

With a vast clinical experience of over 80,000 surgical procedures and over 50,000 cataract surgeries, Dr. Aran was the first ophthalmic surgeon in Florida to use the FDA-approved Excimer Laser, and he has trained many South Florida physicians in the use of Excimer Laser technology over the years.

Throughout his academic career, graduated magna cum laude from Spring Hill College in Alabama and received his medical degree with honors from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received his residency training in ophthalmology at Tulane University School of Medicine, where he also finished his internal medicine internships and completed his corneal and external disease fellowship.

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). The ABO is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America. He is also board-certified by the American Board of Eye Surgeons.

Remaining up to date in his field, Dr. Aran is an established member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

In his professional experience, he maintains surgical staff privileges at Surgical Center of Coral Gables, North Miami Beach Surgical Center, Jackson North Medical Center, Foundation for Advanced Eye Care, and Eye Care and Surgery Center of Fort Lauderdale.

Active in academia, Dr. Aran serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Tulane University School of Medicine, and as an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at the State University of New York and Nova Southeastern University.
