A seasoned ophthalmologist, Dr. Abbas is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital in Houston, Texas. He can also be found on staff at Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital, Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital.

A native of Pakistan, Dr. Abbas earned his medical degree from the Aga Khan University Medical College in 1989. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his internship and residency in ophthalmology at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in 1994. Finally, he completed his fellowship in cornea & external diseases at the Tulane University School of Medicine in 1999.

With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in ophthalmology and cornea & external diseases by the American Board of Ophthalmology, an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.
