What a great experience! From the moment she stepped into the exam room, it was obvious she had prepared for our meeting. She was familiar with my medical history and knew why I was there. She was thorough, and I did not feel as though she was rushed, even though I knew her appointment schedule was full. She made me feel like I was her only patient. She listened. I felt she was very interested in me as a person and patient. Afterwards, she and her staff followed up on everything we discussed.

While Dr. Zito excels at all aspects of rheumatology, she has previously been involved in clinical research involving rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia syndrome, and osteoarthritis. She has also published professionally in medical journals regarding the areas of vasculitis, mastocytosis, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Personally, Dr. Zito enjoys spending most of her free time with her family, including her husband, two children, and several pets. They enjoy RV travelling, playing tennis, listening to music, reading, as well as having faith, partaking in community service, and helping to care for extended family.
