He then went on to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Oklahoma, his residency in pediatric orthopedics at Boston Children’s Hospital, and his residency in orthopedic surgery at Lenox Hills Hospital. 

In addition to being a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Auld is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, which is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons, as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.

Orthopedic surgery or orthopedics is the branch of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. Orthopedic surgeons use both surgical and nonsurgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, spine diseases, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders.
