Can you fix a misaligned spine?
Can you fix a misaligned spine? The short answer is yes in certain cases, but it depends on the type of misalignment. Conditions like spondylolystheses (slippage of one vertebral body on another) can be stabilized to reduce pain but rarely can be returned to original alignment. Certain types of scoliosis can be partially or significantly corrected to stabilize and help prevent further deterioration of the curvature. These are usually major surgeries and require consultation with a board certified Orthopedic Spine surgeon. READ MORE
