Get to know Dentist Dr. Michael A. Gorman, who has practices located in Miramar and Lighthouse Point, Florida.  Dr. Gorman has been proudly treating patients in these locations and surrounding cities for over 20 years.

An exceptional dentist, Dr. Gorman is the Owner of Sedation Dental Spa of South Florida with offices in Miramar and Lighthouse Point, Florida. Some of the services that he offers include Cosmetic dentistry, IV sedation dentistry, Implants, Full mouth restoration, Botox, dermal fillers, Veneers, and Invsialign, among other services. 

His cumulative dental knowledge, including general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, as well as IV and oral sedation, provides Dr. Gorman with the ability to complete a full-mouth restoration in a single visit. He is able to sedate patients comfortably, providing them the opportunity to walk into the office with no fear or anxiety, and leave with a new smile without having any recollection of the procedure.

A native of Tallahassee, Florida, Dr. Gorman enlisted in the U.S. Navy immediately after graduating high school and is a Desert Storm veteran who served for four years. He received his Bachelor of Health Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Florida, after which he earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry.. 

Upon obtaining his certification in IV Conscious Sedation from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. Gorman received extensive training in a dental bone grafting and surgical implant placement and restoration course in Miami from one of the foremost dental implant experts in the nation.

Among his professional dental affiliations, he is an esteemed member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the Dental Association for Conscious Sedation.

Holding fellowship status, Dr. Gorman is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a Fellow of the American Dental Implant Association, and a Fellow of the International Dental Implant Association.

When Dr. Gorman is not practicing dentistry, he enjoys boating, offshore fishing, scuba diving and spending time with his family, doing a variety of outdoor events.
