After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Oklahoma University College of Dentistry in 1984, Dr. Miller went on to complete his residency in general dentistry while serving in the United States Air Force. After serving for several years as an Air Force general dentist, he completed his residency in oral surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, Texas. He was the first Air Force oral surgeon to be granted a graduate training fellowship, which he completed in facial cosmetics in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He has served on staff at three oral and maxillofacial residency training programs for the Air Force, Army, and the University of Texas. He has also served as training staff for an advanced general dental residency.
A Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, this dentist holds membership status with numerous professional organizations, including the Oklahoma Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Dr. Miller strives to deliver the most up-to-date and comprehensive surgical procedures available through attendance at continuing education courses, seminars, and national meetings.
